Advancing the Field of Infertility One Study at a Time
Next week, more than 8,000 experts in reproductive medicine from across the country and around the world will gather in San Antonio, Texas, to hear the latest advancements in treating infertility – more than 40 of them authored by IVI-RMA Global doctors.
Starting on Saturday, November 28th, and concluding on November 1st, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s (ASRM) 2017 Scientific Congress & Expo is the largest scientific conference dedicated to furthering research related to assisted reproductive medicine.
IVI-RMA Global physicians will be presenting and discussing a variety of topics including comprehensive chromosome screening (CCS), gene expressions analysis, improvements in preimplantation genetic analysis of embryos, the impact of gluten-free diets on fertility, and as well as a study that utilized a more sensitive method of estimating the impact of a patient’s metabolic health on fertility.
ASRM was founded in 1944 by a small group of fertility experts who were leading the developments in the field of reproductive medicine. They were also the first physicians to perform many of the standard procedures that are still used by fertility specialists today.
Fast forward to 2017: the society now includes thousands of members from 50 states and more than 100 countries who are obstetrician/gynecologists, urologists, reproductive endocrinologists, embryologists, mental health professionals, internists, nurses, practice administrators, laboratory technicians, pediatricians, research scientists, and veterinarians.
ASRM has been truly dedicated to the advancement of the science and practice of reproductive medicine. They are able to achieve this mission through the pursuit of excellence in education, research, and through advocacy on behalf of patients, physicians, and affiliated health care providers.
The RMA Network is proud to be a member of ASRM and we are looking forward to contributing to this year’s 73rd Annual Congress in San Antonio, Texas.
